Is anyone else experiencing this? I just want a happy medium (and by 'happy medium' I mean 'slightly more than average') of beefalo herds but I can't seem to find it. My bf had his set to 'more' and only saw a single herd after exploring a huge span of map. I've looked around to see if this was a common issue and I've seen one forum post about it, to which some were replying that they had this issue but most were saying that they didn't. So I gave up and set beefalo herds to 'lots' and suddenly there were so many that I had difficulty finding an area to set up camp that wasn't completely overrun with them. Riding a Beefalo while carrying it will make the long.

For example, say you are lugging the Suspicious Marble around, but it is far from the Marble Sculptures themselves. That being said, taming a Beefalo has many benefits- increased movement speed, damage, and some other rather specific quirks. Make sure you think it worth it before doing this. I've tried this setting with 3-4 different maps and keep running into the same problem: explore a huge portion of the map and no beefalo to be found. Taming a Beefalo is a long, arduous project. I usually set beefalo to 'more,' but with this setting in RoG I have yet to see a single beefalo. I just downloaded RoG last night and, while it's pretty great so far, I seem to be having trouble finding beefalo herds.
